Matteo Trentin (Tudor Pro Cycling) won Stage 4 of the on an exciting sprint to the line. This victory marked the Italian riders first stage victory for the Tudor Pro Cycling team. The Tudor Pro Cycling team is a Swiss-registered team owned by former professional cyclist Fabian Cancellara.
Trentin turned professional in 2011 with the Quick-Step cycling team, where he quickly made a name for himself. Over his career, Trentin has won three stages, in 2013, 2014, and 2019, at the Tour de France, four stages at the Vuelta a España, victory at Paris–Tours in 2015 and 2017, and the gold medal in the road race at the 2018 European Road Cycling Championships in Glasgow.
Trentin currently leads the general classification of the 2024 Tour de Wallonie, and will look to defend this lead on the final stage tomorrow, covering 192 kilometers setting off from Mouscron to the race finish in Thuin.
