The four teams that have received wild card spots in the 2018 Tirreno-Adriatico race has been announced by RCS Sport.
The teams selected include Russian team Gazprom-RusVelo, Israeli team Isreal Cycling Academy, and two Italian teams; Nippo-Vini Fantini-Europa Ovini and Wilier Triestina-Selle Italia.
The 22 teams that will be in action at Tirreno-Adriatico include the four wild card spot winners, along with the 18 WorldTour teams that are automatically given race slots.
The 2018 Tirreno-Adriatico will take place from March 7-13 and will be the 53rd edition of the race that covers much of central Italy.
Last year's edition of the race was one by Movistar rider Nairo Quintana
Tirreno-Adriatico coincides with Paris-Nice, another iconic race that takes place in France.
