Seven wild card spots have been filled for the 2018 Milan-San Remo cycling race, with RCS Sport announcing the selected teams.
Three Italian teams, Nippo-Vini Fantini-Europa Ovini, Bardiani CSF, and Willier Triestina-Selle Italia, made the startlist through wild card selection.
Additionally, the Israeli team Israel Cycling Academy has been selected, along with the team's wild card selection for the Giro d'Italia and Tirreno-Adriatico.
Russian team Gazprom-RusVelo has been selected for Milan-San Remo after also gaining a wild card spot to Tirreno-Adriatico.
French squad Cofidis, who are a fixture at the Tour de France, has also made the startlist at the 2018 Milan-San Remo.
Team Novo Nordisk, an American team, has also been selected as a wild card for the 2018 Milan-San Remo.
The 2018 Milan-San Remo will take place on March 17th and marks the 109th edition of the iconic 298 kilometers one-day race.
