Stage 3 of the 2024 Tour Alsace took place entirely in Haute-Saône, linking Vesoul to the Planche des Belles-Filles. The start of the stage was located in the Haute-Saônoise plain, characterized by relatively flat terrain and without any notable difficulty. However, once the relief appears on the horizon, things get tougher on this 132-kilometer long route.
The final climb to the Planche des Belles-Filles, where the finish line was located, represented the highlight of the stage. This iconic climb is the most intense moment of the race, providing a breathtaking spectacle for spectators and testing the endurance of the riders.

The 19-year-old Norwegian from the Team Visma | Lease a Bike Development Team attacked on the flanks of La Planche des Belles Filles and reached the finish line first after a beautiful solo. Nordhagen will also start in the leader's jersey tomorrow.
