Sarreau Captures Another Stage Victory in Besseges at the 2018 Etoile de Besseges



FDJ rider Marc Sarreau was once again able to emerge victorious at the 48th edition of the Etoile de Bessseges cycling race, winning Stage 3 in the race's namesake city, Besseges.

Sarreau was able to beat out fellow French riders Thomas Boudat (Direct Energie) and Samuel Dumoulin (AG2R La Mondiale) at the line to take the stage victory, which also propelled him once again into first place in the general classification with two stages remaining.

In addition to his stage victory and lead in the general classification, Sarreau leads the points classification ahead of Cofidis rider Christopher Laporte.

Benoit Cosnefroy (AG2R La Mondiale) took over as leader in the youth standings ahead of Milan Menten (Sport Vlaanderen-Baloise), while Remy Di Gregorio (Delko Marseille Provence KTM) currently sits in first place in the King of the Mountains competition.

Stage 4 will depart from Chusclan and cover 153 kilometers before finishing in Laudun L'ardoise.
