Gallopin Wins Etoile de Besseges After Stellar Final Stage Individual Time Trial



AG2R-La Mondiale rider Tony Gallopin stepped up when it counted, at the individual time trial on the final day of the 2018 Etoile de Besseges cycling race, tackling the 10.7 kilometer route in just over 15 minutes to take home the General Classification title.

Marc Sarreau (FDJ), winner of two stages, kept his lead in the points classification, taking home the Points Classification title with 68.

Another FDJ rider, Benjamin Thomas, came through with a strong individual time trial to capture the Best Young Rider title, while Remy Di Gregorio (Delko Marseille Provence KTM) took home the King of the Mountains honor.

Direct Energie was able to take home the best team title.
