CCC Sprandi Polkowice Ink Major Deal with Talented Portuguese Rider for 2018

Polish team CCC Sprandi Polkowice have officially brought in another rider to the team for 2018 with the addition of Portuguese rider Amaro Manuel Antunes.

Antunes inked a two-year deal with the club after a solid 2017 season, which saw the 26-year-old climber take an impressive 5th place overall at the Volta ao Algarve, while also capturing king of the mountains titles at the GP Internacional Torres Vedras and Volta a Portugal em Bicicleta Santander Totta.

The Portuguese rider has been competing professionally since 2011, and joins CCC Sprandi Polkowice from the Portuguese Continental-level team W52/FC Porto.

The addition of Antunes is another big signing in terms of developing future talent in the next few years for the CCC Sprandi Polkowice squad, which has been putting up impressive showings and continues to build its reputation as one of the premier teams at the Pro-Continental level.
