Two Riders Sign with Bora-Hangrohe for 2018 World Tour Season

Bora-Hangrohe cycling team have officially made their first signings for the upcoming 2018 season, announcing agreements with riders Daniel Oss and Peter Kennaugh.

Oss will join the Bora-Hangrohe team after four years with the BMC Racing Team. The 30-year-old Italian will once again ride alongside former Liquigas/Liquigas-Cannondale Peter Sagan on the Bora-Hangrohe squad, and is expected to be a primary asset for Sagan during the Spring Classics. Oss has been a consistently solid rider throughout his career, and has two Olympic Gold Medals in the Team Time Trial, a Team Time Trial victory on Stage 9 of the 2015 Tour de France, the King of the Mountains title at the 2015 Tour of California, and multiple top-ten finishes at the Spring Classics.

Kennaugh comes to Bora-Hangrohe from Team Sky, where he has spent the last seven years with the British squad. Kennaugh has won two British National Road Race Championships, while also capturing the overall title at the 2014 Tour of Austria and a stage victory at the 2016 Vuelta a Espana. The 28-year-old British Rider will be used as a primary climber searching for stage victories as part of the Bora-Hansgrohe team, as well as being a major leader at one-week tours.

Both Daniel Oss and Peter Kennaugh will be with the Bora-Hangrohe team in 2018 and 2019 after signing two-year deals.
